“Drink Responsibly, Read Recklessly”
Join Us at CopenRoss Growlers on Orchard and Overland
Do you like local brews and breweries? Do you like books, and do you want to meet local authors? Do you love an afternoon of live music with friends?
Then this is the event for you!
We’ll have local breweries just like last year, and as they are confirmed, we will be announcing them.
You’ll get to meet some new, local authors and some who have been around for a while. From the Shepherd Books team of authors to some debut novelists, you’ll get a chance to chat with your favorites, buy their books, and get them signed.
Add Live Music!
What could make this better? Live music with local bands featuring Town of Trees! You won’t want to miss out!
Stay tuned as we add more details and information. Join us for the second annual Boise Books and Brews!
September 23, 4-8 p.m.
How Will It Work?
When you sign up in advance or at the door, you get admission to the entire event. You’ll also receive a packet with beer tokens and book tickets. These can be redeemed for taster-sized samples from local breweries or for books from your favorite author. (books will be priced in tickets rather than dollars)
Need more tokens or tickets? You’ll be able to purchase extras at the event or online ahead of time.
Live music is free with event admission. There will be three bands, beers from a number of breweries, and fun to be had for everyone! Learn more by clicking the button below to visit our registration page.!
Authors, would you like to be part of this event?
This is your chance to meet other authors, find new readers, and have a great time selling books.
What You’ll Need
You need books to sell. Physical books. You can sell eBooks or other merchandise as well.
You’ll need your own table and a tent/awning if you want shade. We may have extras, so please ask.
We’re making this event super accessible, but spots will fill quickly. Check out the application page for the cost and more details.
